Too often, students find math and science boring—occasions of rote memorization. Girls in particular often see math and science as fields more suited for boys and men. At Trinity School, we know that neither of these statements needs to be true! In math and science, we encourage all of our students to think deeply, to wonder about the natural world, and to expect that they're able to learn difficult and exciting things.
This year we're hosting Jewels of the Sea, a session that will focus on the microscopic biochemistry of the oceans. We invite fifth- and sixth-grade girls from any school to experience the excitement and fun of science.
