Students in both the junior and the senior years take a two-hour drama class for one quarter. Juniors are introduced to the fundamentals of acting and performance, including movement, voice and interpretation of text and character. They perform a dramatic work at the end of the course. The senior drama course reviews these techniques and implements them in a full-scale production. Students are involved in all areas of the production: text and character interpretation, blocking, sets, music, costumes and props.
