Trinity School Summer Camps 2014

Young Scientists: A Science Camp for Girls
July 21-24 and July 28-31
10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Cost: $230

Gina Gianoli, veteran TSMV faculty member, dean of girls and science instructor at Trinity School at Meadow View, will offer a two-week science camp experience for rising 4th through 6th grade girls. The camp will be a hands-on exploration of natural science. Girls will study and explore: Trees and Leaves, Geology/volcanoes, Farm animals, Wildlife, Aquatic animals and Agriculture.

Boys Lacrosse Camps

Scott Niklason, head coach of Trinity School's boys varsity lacrosse program, founder of the Trinity Tempest lacrosse program and 2008 VISAA Coach of the Year will offer the following lacrosse camps for boys:

Young Tempest Lacrosse Camps
July 28 to August 1 — 9 a.m. to noon
August 4 to August 8 – 9 a.m. to noon
Cost: $150
This camp is designed to introduce rising 4th through 6th grade boys to the exciting, fast-paced game of lacrosse. Learn the fundamental skills of passing, catching, shooting, cradling, dodging, ground ball scooping, as well as offensive and defensive concepts.

Rising Tempest Lacrosse Camp
June 16 to June 20 – 9 a.m. to noon
August 11 to August 15 – 9 a.m. to noon
Cost: $150
Designed to improve lacrosse skills of rising 7th through 9th grade boys. This camp will stress fundamentals, provide position-specific instruction and develop team offensive and defensive concepts. Offensive players will be instructed in the areas of dodging, shooting off-ball movement and ball handling; defensive players will learn basic checks, slides, footwork and communication. Goalies will learn save technique clears and communication. The camp will include individual contests and team games.
