Spring Fine Arts Night
May 24, 2017
Our Lady of Good Counsel, Vienna
All seventh- through tenth-grade students participate in Trinity’s music curriculum. Seventh graders practice individual recorder performance and learn basic music theory. Eighth graders perform in recorder ensembles and are introduced to composition skills. Ninth and tenth graders perform in choir and compose four-part harmony and sixteenth-century counterpoint. The Spring Fine Arts Night includes poetry recitations, performances of students’ musical compositions, the curricular choirs and the extracurricular choirs. The extracurricular choirs include the Trinity Chorale, Chamber Choir and the Tempest in a Barbershop. Trinity’s Instrumental Ensemble provides music during the reception after the recital. Student art work is on display during the reception.
