Application Process

We welcome your interest in Trinity School at River Ridge. Our goal is to make the application process simple and productive. We invite you and your child to attend the various admissions events and to learn more about us. Below you will find the necessary forms to complete for your child’s application to Trinity School at River Ridge.

Apply for Admission

Application:

The process begins in the fall of your child’s sixth-grade year or above. Families should fill out Trinity School's form and send it, along with a $50 nonrefundable application fee with their Application for Admission. Applications will be reviewed until all the spots are filled.

Entrance Exam Date

Testing is required for all prospective Trinity School students.
Prospective seventh-graders take the Short Form Aptitude Test.
Transfer students are evaluated in their math and grammar abilities.

Your child may dress comfortably. Pencils will be provided. The test will be held at[Trinity School at River Ridge, 601 River Ridge Parkway, Eagan, MN 55121. Directions

Also, students may complete the required interview with a Trinity School faculty member after the exam.

Once the application for admissions is submitted, a file is opened for your child’s important forms to be kept in.

Schedule a Student Visit and or Interview

Students are invited to spend some time at Trinity to experience the life of at our school. Although visits are encouraged, they are not required for the application process.

A short interview with a faculty member is required. Please return the Visit/Interview Form and then schedule your visit by calling Mrs. Julie Schnell at 651-789-2890, ext. 220, or request your dates and times by e-mail from jschnell@trinityschools.org

Prospective seventh-graders may attend one of our special designated visit dates designed especially for them. During the visit they will meet with the headmaster, deans and teachers, visit classes and enjoy a hands-on Trinity class with the prospecive student in mind. At the conclusion of the event, the prospective student will be served a complementry lunch.
In addition ,the student may do the required interview with a Trinity School faculty member.

Transfer students may visit by arranging a date with Mrs. Schnell as well. (There are some additional instructions for transfer students.)
