In junior high, teachers impart basic mathematical skills through direct instruction and tutorials. Students move through pre-algebra and complete an algebra course by the end of eighth grade.

High-school students meet two hours each day to study mathematics and science. In the high-school mathematics program, students learn geometry, precalculus, trigonometry, calculus and advanced topics in mathematics. Mathematical proficiency is the goal.
